Spelt is a very old wheat called " Gallic wheat". Some grains spices close to common wheat are called "dressed" because the grains remains covered with its ball at harvest. Dressed wheats are commonly called spelt, the term encompassing three species : einkorn, emmer and spelt.

Tips for use
These spelt flakes have been pre-cooked using a steaming method and can be consumed as they are. They can also be cooked for 10 minutes and garnished to taste. Spelt flakes can be sprinkled on your breakfast cereal or eaten with milk or yoghurt. You can also use the flakes to create numerous sweet or savoury dishes, including vegetable terrines, veggie burgers, bread, purée, porridge and cake. Keep in a cool, dry and dark place.
