Preparation
Step 1In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar and baking powder.
Step 2Melt the coconut oil and add to the dry mixture. Next, add the pieces of almonds and dried figs and mix again to obtain a smooth mixture.
Step 3Divide the dough into three pieces and shape into fingers about 15 cm long.
Step 4Slightly flatten the fingers to 2 cm thick, then place them in a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Step 5Bake in the oven for 20 minutes at 180°C. Leave to cool then cut the dough pieces into small canistrelli.
Step 6Bake again for 10 minutes at 170°C until golden brown!
